About StudioTEQ
What's in a name?
The "StudioTEQ" company name was conceived to be snappy and easily remembered, whilst also conveying modernism.
The "TEQ" part could be an alternate short-form spelling for Technology, but it actually represents
Technique, Efficiency and Quality, which are the three main factors we like to include with every project.
The "Studio" part not only represents our studio and location photographic services and facilities, but also fits in with
the services offered by our IT Division.

Principal Photographer
The principal photographer and founder of StudioTEQ is Glyn Edmunds who has many years of success and experience in virtually all genres and styles of photography. Glyn
is happily married with two grown-up daughters and five grandchildren.
Glyn has won many accolades and silverware over the years and had his first nationally exhibited photograph in the Welsh Salon of Photography Exhibition way back in 1966, when he was just a young lad.
He did his first paid photographic assignment when he was just 16 and has been a keen Amateur, Semi-professional or Professional Photographer ever since. His work has been published around the world, particularly
his travel and wildlife photographs, which adorn safari and travel brochures and their associated websites in several countries, including Tanzania.
He also taught photography on a part-time basis many years ago, including studio lighting and darkroom processing, but he rarely steps in front of the camera, so you are lucky to get
this low-key portrait of him working.
Rather than use photographs from Glyn's extensive personal library, it was decided to utilise only comparatively new images for the StudioTEQ online gallery, which is why it is currently not available, but watch this space,
as there will be a new gallery soon.
Glyn was recently elected as Chairman and Publicity Officer for Pyle & Porthcawl Photographic Society and has many aspirations for the club and its members.
Contract and or Consultancy
At StudioTEQ we provide a wide range of contract and or consultancy services on a short-term, long-term or ad-hoc basis, the choice is yours. Clients
include banks and other financial institutions, government-funded organisations, charities, small
and medium enterprises (SMEs), clubs and individuals.
Our Location
StudioTEQ is located in Porthcawl, South Wales, which is very close to the M4 and provides easy access to the rest of the South Wales area and beyond. We are local to Bridgend and Port Talbot, but Cowbridge, Barry, Cardiff, Newport, Neath, Swansea,
Llanelli, Llantrisant, Rhondda, Aberdare and Hirwaun are all within easy reach and
are well within our normal coverage area, which extends from Pembroke in the West, to Monmouth in the East and Brecon in the North. We go much further for various photographic commissions and can provide services almost anywhere.
