Models

StudioTEQ are always seeking suitable photographic models of any gender, age, shape, size, description and ethnic origin, both with and without experience, particularly within the South Wales area.

A good photographic model has: confidence, an extrovert nature, grace, patience, the ability to exaggerate and make it look natural, control over and use of their emotions, the ability to act out a role and smile or pout sexily even if they don't want to.  An experienced or professional photographic model also quickly attains a rapport with the photographer and works to the rhythm of the camera.  If you have or think you may have these abilities and attributes, or you can learn them, StudioTEQ would like to hear from you!

StudioTEQ sometimes offers all types and levels of models Time for Prints (TFP) and Time for Disk (TFD)/Time for CD (TFCD) photo shoots to enhance their modelling portfolio, or simply to help them evaluate and or extend their abilities.  If this service is of interest to you, please quote TFP or TFD/TFCD on your enquiry.

Professional
Professional and experienced photographic models should email us with their details, including full name, address, age, telephone number(s), stage name (if any), height, vital statistics, clothes and shoe sizes, availability, types and range of work performed, any special abilities or features, the name and contact details of any agency involved, normal contract rates, whether or not hair and makeup can be handled, any other information believed relevant to the selection process and attach one or more recent photographs of themselves and or a link to their web-based portfolio.

Aspiring
Aspiring photographic models with little or no experience should email us with their details, including full name, address, age, telephone number(s), height, vital statistics, clothes and shoe sizes, the type(s) of work sought, any special attributes or abilities (dancer, gymnast, athlete etc.) they may have, availability, whether or not hair and makeup can be handled, any other information believed relevant to the selection process and attach one or more recent photographs of themselves.

Child
The parent of a potential child model should contact us with their contact details and full details of the child(ren) they are proposing and attach one or more recent photographs of the child(ren).

• StudioTEQ treats all information received in the strictest confidence and will not pass personal details to third parties without the model's prior knowledge and consent.
• StudioTEQ promises to respond to all enquiries as soon as possible.
• The second stage in the model selection process for aspiring models will include an informal face-to-face discussion and an audition.
• No promises of work, fame or fortune will be given or should be implied.
• Any paid work will be offered by official invitation only and may be preceded by successful selection at an audition, which may involve the client commissioning the work.
• A model release form must be completed and signed at each and every session or contract prior to photographs being taken.
• StudioTEQ will require satisfactory proof of identity and age before taking any photographs or entering into any arrangements or contracts.
• Models aged under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times.

All photographic models, whether aspiring or professional, need to maintain a current portfolio of photographs in electronic and printed form, which illustrates their experience and modelling capabilities to prospective employers and or agencies, as this is the first stage of any model selection process for a prospective contract or shoot.

If a model's portfolio is incomplete, out of date, or unavailable, StudioTEQ accepts personal commissions to create, extend or complete the model's portfolio.  Portfolio shoots are available from only £35, please ask for details.

StudioTEQ offer professionally produced and Photoshop edited Model Portfolio Books to a high standard.

We also produce Flash Cards from images sent to us as downloads and or from photographs we take during a photo shoot.  Cost varies from around £25 per side to £50 per side and are normally supplied as high resolution images for you to print off as you wish, but we will accept commissions for producing small or large quantities of Flash Cards for you.  Please ask for a quotation.

We accept photo-finishing work, including personalised cards and we offer standard prints along with canvas and poster printing services in short or long runs, provided you own the image copyright or from images we create.  Please ask for a quotation.

StudioTEQ is refreshing its image galleries and portfolios of models work and may accept Time for Prints (TFP) and Time for Disk (TFD)/Time for CD (TFCD) commissions from existing and aspiring models for photography of any type, genre and style, if we think it will benefit us; simply quote TFP or TFD/TFCD on your enquiry.
